This blog isn't exactly drawing me to post in it. I'm sure many of you share those feelings. It'll pick up in time. Meanwhile I'm more focused on http://www.spiritcompanion.com Much better!

I hope many of you will do more blogging here as things pick up. I've started crossposting here, pretty much everything I put in my LiveJournal, and intend to post more personal stuff here (which I'm filtering - you can find the filter controls on "Your friends" page in the "Access Controls" link) in preparation for the move. Deeply personal stuff will be on a "safe" filter, and other, less crucial material will be friends only or logged in users only.

Hope you'll join me.

Never Fear, I am working hard on getting my profile here up and running.  I'm just trying to word it so I don't come out sounding like an arrogant jerk or a loon. 

Patience is the watch word here.  Thank you all for your support.

I've been up since about noon yesterday (20.5 hours) working on the new issue. I've got seven more articles (and their "accessories") left to do, including final edits, code, graphics, etc. I've reached the end of my endurance for now, and will have to get some sleep. The birds (we have two very noisy Quaker parrots) waking up 10 feet away from me did quite a bit to influence my decision to just go to bed.

I'll be back later. Today is due to include sleep, finishing this magazine, and making the bulk of my daughter's Halloween costume.

First, sleep. But it's gonna be a great issue!

Next priority: Find out how to use the other nine icons I uploaded. :-|

Welcome to the new blogging feature of Rending the Veil. I'm pleased to be a part of this project, and look forward to adding all my LiveJournal friends who think that Six Apart is messing things up over there. Let the mass migration begin! :D

Here it is, blogging. At long last! After so many struggles with LiveJournal it was decided that its just not suited for standalone install, unless you have a lot of time on your hands...

 So here we go instead with Elgg based platform. I await nervously as the first beta testers hop on and try it out. I hope nothing breaks! And I hope my  conversion scripts transfered the old user accounts over ok!

Once this thing is laucnhed and we're sure its working we can get to some of the stuff thats been on the todo list waaay too long already. Let me know if you have any problems.
