Correction: This issue’s Into the Aethyr deals with the nature of reality. How permanent is it, really? Do you experience anomalies or unexpected changes in a reality you thought was stable?
Update: Until we can implement a better system, click through to the articles and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the link to read comments and make your own comments.
Welcome to the first annual Midsummer issue of Rending the Veil! We hope you’ll find it interesting and informative. New contributors this month include Matt Hillman (our very own webmaster!), Frater Djeheuty, and Sarenth, each bringing a unique perspective to our already eclectic mix of viewpoints. We also present new articles from Lupa and Donald Tyson, as well as the next installment of Gerald del Campo’s “Ethical Thelema” series. You’ll find the links below.
We are now ready to receive submissions and questions from potential artists for our art gallery section. Our goal is to support the site and occult oriented artists of all types. We’re interested in everything from .mp3’s to photos to multi-media pieces. Send us sample photos with your inquiries, and in return you’ll receive full details of how to get involved in this project, either to show off your skills or to sell your wares. Your fellow magicians are waiting to see what you’ve got! Inquire at artsubmissions@rendingtheveil.com.
As always, former, expired issues of Rending the Veil have been relocated to the archives, and all prior content (articles and columns alike) is accessible from the Site Map.
One final thing: The Google-based portal for RTV Stuff has some very cool new modules you can add to your start page. If you have an RTV email account, you have access to this page and its contents. As of now, you can add everything from The Onion headlines to YouTube search box to Majong. Have fun with it, and if you don’t have an RTV email account but would like one, just let us know.

So when I wrote the poem below, I decided to simply call it ‘Seventeen.’ …” Read the poem…
This issue, the featured artist is, once again, Prezzey. “This image depicts the mythical Turul bird (“turulmadár”). “We are now, day by day, creeping up on the summer solstice, and while our neopagan pals make much ado and great use of the solstices and equinoxes, modern ceremonial magicians often do not. We are not entirely to blame. The Golden Dawn, for example, only had regular equinox …” read more…

“Whether or not the internet really is for porn, it’s certainly caused a lot of wanking. The magical community has always had people who were more talk than action.
