Rending the Veil will only accept advertising from what we deem to be high-quality occult or occult-friendly websites. Our business is serving the magical community, and as such we will not accept any ads from sites exclusively or excessively promoting “love spells,” “psychic readings,” cheaply-made “magical amulets,” or other such merchandise geared toward financially raping the customer. We will accept ads from artisans selling handmade tools, reputable shops, and the like. In the event that our readers overwhelmingly alert us of your bad business practices, we may see fit to drop your ad without notice and without refund of any advance payment.
We will link to the url that we visit when approving the ad. Any site setting a redirect from the linked url will be dropped from the ad program immediately and without a refund. If you move sites, update your url with Rending the Veil administrators.
All Sidebar Ads ads we post will be placed once on one sidebar on every top level page. Content Ads will be placed above, below, and between the main content in the central page area, and will be single-page-dedicated. Ad prices are subject to change without notice and will change when demand increases, when traffic increases significantly, and/or when there is more competition for placement.

All ad prices are tiered. There are three sizes of Sidebar Ad, and three possible placement locations. Once location and size are established, the fee will be based on the number of issues that the ad is run. All ads will be placed in the left or right sidebars, with one ad space available at the top of each sidebar, two ad spaces in the approximate center of each sidebar, and the remainder at the bottom of the sidebars. Ads will be first come, first served. Left and right sidebars will be of equal price.

Content ads are run on a page-by-page basis. You choose the page or article you wish to advertise on, and based on the placement (top, middle, or bottom), you will pay one fee per issue per ad. For multiple pages or multiple ads, bulk rates are available. Contact advertising @ rendingtheveil.com for further information on bulk rates.
Rending the Veil has elected to utilize the opportunities inherent in the Google Adsense program. This program allows us to target ads geared toward our readers, and allows us to filter out any ads or sites we deem to be inappropriate. If you, the reader, sees an ad you feel is inappropriate to our mission, write to Admin and let us know, and we will investigate the site and filter if necessary.
